On choosing to use our site, Demandjapan, you automatically become responsible for the maintenance and confidentiality of your account, your password and also for restricting access to your computer to safeguard security.

You also agree to accept responsibility for anything that occurs within your account and the use of your password. Although Demandjapan sells children's products, we only sell to adults.

However, children under the age of 18 can access and use our site, but only under the strict guidance of a parent or guardian and payment can be made by the parent or guardian by means of a permitted payment approved by Demandjapan. Using our sole discretion, Demandjapan reserves the right to terminate accounts, refuse service, edit or remove content, or cancel orders if considered necessary.

It is our policy at Demandjapan to be as accurate as possible, but we cannot guarantee that product descriptions or other site content is either current, error-free, accurate, complete or reliable. Should you decide to purchase a product and it does not meet up with the description on site, then your only recourse is to return it in the same unused condition as it was sent.

We encourage visitors to the Demandjapan site to post their reviews as long as they meet with our strict guidelines and are not:

• Denigratory

In sending material to Demandjapan, and unless otherwise stated by us, you are then granting Demandjapan the use of that submission in any way we feel appropriate. It will be royalty-free.

Your review should not be more than a 1,000 words, and our recommendation is between 50~300 words.

Here at Demandjapan, we encourage our customers to send us reviews on their purchases.
The review should be specific about the product and its features and your experience with it.
We want to hear whether to your liked or disliked a product, but even more importantly, why!

We would also like you to feel free about telling us of other related products and how they rate in comparison. We want our customers to feel free in sending their reviews.

However, there are some comments we would ask you to refrain from: The giving of alternative shipping/ordering information, availability or price: Obscene or distasteful remarks: URLs, telephone numbers or mail addresses: Swearing or hurtful comments: Commenting on other people's reviews: Time-sensitive content such as lectures, promotional tours, etc. Using other people's thoughts and copying reviews from other sites - it is your opinion of the product we would like to read.

No single word reviews please; we would like to hear why you liked/disliked a particular product. And please don't reveal any plots that would spoil a book/film/video, etc., for others.

Whenever you write a review we publish, you will be given one (1) extra credit. Credits are virtual tokens that represent an amount of money. At the present time one (1) credit is rated at ¥50, but is subject to change if DemandJapan deems it necessary, in which case you will be notified via e-mail.
You can save your credits up and use them whenever you want to get a discount on your shopping.

You can view your current credit amount at anytime by accessing your account and clicking on "Manage my personal data".
Also you can easily keep track and cross-check your credit amount by keeping count of your reviews on the site.

If you own one or more credits and you are on the checkout page, you will be given the option to use the available tokens thus reducing your subtotal. To use your credits, type the amount of credits you wish to use in the appropriate box and press "Update".
Please note: the discount applies only to the merchandise and not to the shipping charges which are separate.

Important:
Remember you can never use tokens in such an amount that completely nullifies an order. i.e.: if your order's subtotal is ¥4,000 and you have 80 or more credits, you will not be able to use them all. Instead you will be given the choice to use 79.
A quick calculation will show you that in this case you will end up spending ¥3,950.
Also remember that credits cannot be claimed as money.
